Art Class Description

Famous Artists Club 2 4 x 120 Minutes Age: 7+ Van Gogh: Sunflowers Van Gogh: Cypress Landscape Pablo Picasso: Blue Period & Easy Cubism Paul Klee: Cat & Bird In this weekly class, students will learn about a new famous artist almost each week. They will create works of art inspired by that week's artist. The students will learn a few facts about the artist's life and explore the art techniques used by that artist. Kids 7+ will learn fundamental and more advanced drawing, painting, and mixed media skills, while exploring a variety of media including pencils, markers, crayons, watercolors and so much more. Students will get lots of individual attention due to my small class size. Drawing can be exhausting due to the concentration, attention to detail, and focus it demands from the brain and eyes. Because drawing is usually a constant learning experience, brains tend to feel tired when processing new information. I always incorporate brain brakes in my camps. It helps the kids to refocus, boosts their brain function and increases their productivity.

Cancelation Policy

Jasmin’s Art Studio has the right to cancel classes and advise students accordingly by email, phone and/or SMS message. A makeup class will be provided where the cancellation is due to illness or unavailability of the tutor. A makeup class will also be provided where the cancellation is due to reasons outside of Jasmin’s Art Studio’s control, such as storm activity, power outage, fire, etc. Please notify Jasmin’s Art Studio if a student is unable to attend a class. Please contact Jasmin at becreative@jasminsartstudio.com or call – 248.252.5227 to let me know.​ You may or may not be eligible for refund or studio credit – please see the details below. For summer or school break art camps please cancel 7 full days before the start date to receive a full refund or apply a full credit to future classes or camps. No refund, part refund or credit will be given if a student withdraws from the course once the teaching term has commenced. If a student is unable to attend a class, please notify us full 24 hours in advance of class start. No refund, part refund, credit or make up class will be offered if a student is absent from class without a 24-hour notice. For all other classes and workshops, please cancel full 24-hours before the start of the class to get a full refund, studio credit or make-up class. If you booked your class less than 24-hours before the start time, no refund will be given but you may select between a make-up class or studio credit.
